Problem, possible solution


I binded (bound?) the body. Painted face weights (so I could manipulate the jaw with a bone, which makes creating blendshapes easier). But when I assign the blendshape, it also returns the body to default position.


I was going to post a whole long post about how I went about solving this, but I really feel like I ought to get on with the work instead. Esentially, I'm going to copy the weights into another version of the body. hide the that copy. extract the head from the ogrinial. extract the head from the blendshapes. assign blendshapes. reattatch head. copy weights.
